Department Overview

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is an Academic Department in Wayne State University School of Medicine with clinical programs at Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn, Karmanos Cancer Institute, the John D. Dingell Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and Crittenton Hospital. Divisions include pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, neurotology-otological skull base surgery, rhinology/allergy, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dentistry, audiology, and speech pathology.  Many of our faculty also have clinical privileges at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. 

In addition to the 18 full-time faculty, including Chair, Ho-Sheng Lin, M.D., there are 24 adjunct faculty members representing the fields of otolaryngology, oncology, dentistry, maxillo-facial surgery, general nutrition services, speech pathology, and audiology.
